Bosatt Costa Blanca is a real estate agency that welcomes anyone who is looking for their dream home in the Costa Blanca area. Buying a home in Spain involves some administration and knowledge. We deliver a comprehensive service so that you can feel secure in your home purchase and help with everything from financial calculations and construction planning to NIE numbers and other practical things required for your home business.

Tips for those who want to buy a house or apartment in Spain:

  • Choose a broker with care who can provide a comprehensive service and your purchase will be as smooth as possible. The broker should be able to help with NIE numbers, bank contacts and legal advice. We are happy to help you!
  • Inform the broker about your wishes and criteria. The more the broker knows about your requirements, the better.
  • Have a financing plan ready. It is also possible to borrow money from Spanish banks. After a credit check, you can normally borrow 50-60% of the value. The interest rates are about the same as in Sweden.
  • Home insurance can be taken out via a Spanish bank or with one of the insurance companies.
  • It is possible to sign a contract without having a Spanish social security number, but at the time of entry you must have arranged a so-called NIE number in order to own a property. This can be arranged via the Spanish embassy or locally at the police in Spain. Ask us for help and we will arrange it.
  • Expect 12,5-15% in surcharge on the purchase price in taxes, fee to the notary, registration fee and legal aid.
